What we call a clip constitutes a short three-dimensional videoclip that you can compose all by yourself using our on-line Create Application. You can add your images or photographs to a clip template (a three-dimensional clip without images, text or music) of your choice. You can also add text and select a musical background track, thus creating your own unique 3D clip.
Creating your clip is a simple 5-step on-line process. You can try this free of charge. Every completed step will bring you closer to your own personalized clip. These 5 steps are:
After production your clip will be posted on a personalized web page, where you can log-in and add additional info to your clip. You will receive log-in details by email as soon as you have created a clip and registered yourself as a user.
You may create a clip for yourself, or use it as an invitation to a party, to announce birth or a wedding or as an advertisement for your business. There is no end to the possibilities. Allow yourself to be inspired by viewing the various clips already posted on our website.
You can use your clip for:
You can distribute your clip by sending the web link (URL) of your personal web page to your friends, relatives and acquaintances. This web link is shown in the address bar of your browser. By copying (Ctrl-C) this link, and pasting (Ctrl-V) into an email, you can send your clip to anyone you like.
On your personal web page you will find a "Tell-a-Friend" option, providing an easy way to send out the link of your personal web page. Just fill in the form and click "Submit".
A clip can be used to create an appealing message or invitation. You should start by determining what you want to use it for. You could send Season Greetings, birth announcements, invitations and so on to your relatives and friends.
Next step is to conceive of how to convey your message using two or three images and a short text. You may then use our on-line Create Application to assemble those into a unique clip by adding them to one of the three-dimensional templates.
There is only limited space for adding text to your clip. If you wish to add more text, you can add it next to your clip on your own personal web page. Each clip you create will be posted on a free publication page. You will receive log-in details by email as soon as you have created a clip and registered yourself as a user.
Each clip tells its own unique story. It is best to consider beforehand what it is you want to express, what the message is you want to convey. Allow yourself to be inspired by viewing the various clips already posted on our website.
It takes 5 steps to assemble a clip. In step 6 you can confirm the choices you made. By naming your clip you also create your own personal publication page where your clip will be posted.
Step 1 - Scene
Select a clip template from the list which is positioned to the left of the screen. Upon selection two examples will be shown. One video using A/B images and the other using example images. This way you can see how your images will be processed into the template.
Step 2 - Image
What images to use is completely up to you. The images will be used in wide screen format and will be automatically adjusted if needed. Click on the "Upload" button below the Image fields A and B to select and upload images from your own computer. You can scale and/or position your images in order to determine what part of your image will be shown in your clip.
Step 3 - Slogan
Enter a short text to enhance your message. This text will be super-imposed on image B. You can adjust the colour and the size of the text. Not enough room to enter all you want? There is an option to enter additional text in the epilogue or you can add text on the publication page where your clip will be posted.
Step 4 - Epilogue
You can choose to add an epilogue to your clip by providing additional text and choosing a background colour or uploading an additional image. When you choose this option, another six seconds will be added to your clip to accommodate the epilogue. If you do nothing in this step, no epilogue will be added.
Step 5 - Music
Finally, to create a perfect atmosphere for your clip, you can select a musical background track from our library. Choose from the list to listen to the tracks and select the track you like.
Step 6 - Delivery
When you are creating a clip for the first time, you will be asked to provide a username. The username must be unique as it will be used to identify your personal web page. You will always be able to retrieve your personal web page by your user name.
You can use two images in your clip. By using the optional eplilogue you can add an additional third image.
Images up to 6 MBytes are allowed. The dimensions of the produced clip are widescreen format (480 by 270 pixels) and such will be the resulting dimensions of your images when added to the clip. This will be around 16 by 9 centimetres.
If you like you can adjust the dimensions of your images beforehand. You can do this on your own computer using a graphical program like Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Paint or Corel Draw. If you do not have access to such programs, you can make use of several on-line image processing applications, some of which are:
Optionally, as an alternative to entering text to be used in slogan or epilogue, you can compose images already containing text. That way you have ultimate control over positioning, colour and typefaces. This as well can be done using the programs or on-line applications mentioned above.
The Create Apllication provides two options for entering text: the slogan and the epilogue.
You can enter a slogan text in step 3 of the application. The slogan will be super-imposed on your second image when it is shown full screen in the clip. You can enter 3 rows of text and set colour and text size for each row seperately.
The epilogue makes up the ending of your clip. It is up to you to decide if you want an epilogue to be added to your clip. If you enter nothing in this step no epilogue will be added. If you do want an epilogue just enter some text, choose a background colour or upload an image. Text will be shown super-imposed on the background colour or image.
